25 Tempting Crock Pot Pasta Recipes You Need to Try

Well, I must say that when I saw my first Crockpot Pasta recipe, I was quite leery. I had tried pasta in a crockpot many years ago. Obviously, I left it cooking for too long, as I ended up with a mush.

Today though, I have much more experience and can honestly say that there are many recipes for Crockpots that include pasta and when you go into cooking with a crockpot, you do have an understanding that certain foods need to be cooked for certain amounts of time, while others do not need as long.

So sit back, read up and get ready to enjoy your next favorite crockpot meal. Some are savory, some are classics and they are all delicious.

I have loved Olive Garden Crockpot Chicken and Pasta since the first time I tasted it when they opened.

I needed to replicate this recipe as quickly as I could. Once I did, it has become a weekly meal in my home.

When you use shredded chicken, and I use leftover chicken when I make this dish, combined with pasta and Olive Garden dressing, it is an almost perfect replica of a well loved and tasty dinner.

This is definitely not your ordinary Mac and Cheese! I have taken this to a whole new level of Comfort food. This is a simply seasoned dish and made with plant based pasta which makes this even healthier.

The squash and onions will cook in the Crockpot and then add in the pasta and cheese and have a complete meal.

This is a perfect meal for those who prefer no meat. At the same time, you can add other ingredients, such as meat if you choose.

This is an Italian-style soup that is perfect for any weeknight meal. It is satisfying, savory and easy to prepare.

Making the soup in the crockpot is simple, and then adding in the cooked pasta at the end of the cooking cycle makes it even easier.

There is a well known version of this soup that is served at Olive Garden, but I truly believe that this take on the recipe is even better.

4. Crock-Pot Mac and Cheese

Crock-Pot Mac and Cheese (from The Pioneer Woman)

A classic comfort food that is made with three types of cheeses and in the Crockpot. Most often it is recommended that pasta is cooked on the stove and then added.

What I liked about this recipe is that the pasta is cooked right in the crockpot. This not only saves me time, it came out perfectly cooked.

Adding the evaporated milk to the recipe made it just the right amount of creaminess, without the added sugar.

5. Creamy Crockpot Salmon Pasta with Dill Recipe

This recipe combines so many flavors into one dish.

The Salmon comes out super flaky and tender, the pasta is perfect and the sauce is the creamiest you have ever tasted. Be sure to top the dish with a pinch of Dill which sets it much higher than any other recipe.

This recipe does request that you cook the pasta outside of the crockpot. The creamy portion is thanks to Cream of Artichoke soup mix.

6. Crockpot Spaghetti

Crock-Pot Spaghetti (from Bonapeti)

With this spaghetti recipe, the pasta is broken in half and cooked in the crockpot. This dish also uses pork rather than beef.

It is flavored with Italian spices and loaded with parmesan cheese. However, the sauce is made first outside of the crockpot and then placed into it after it is combined and simmered for a certain amount of time.

By the time it is ready to eat, the ingredients all combine and meld together.

7. Crock Pot Spaghetti

Crock Pot Spaghetti (from Lil Luna)

Another great spaghetti recipe that is made for the most part in the Crockpot. However, this recipe does involve much cooking of ingredients outside of the Crockpot.

However, it does simmer all day long in the crock pot once you have the pork and beef cooked ahead of time. The pasta too, will need to be made on the stove top.

The benefit of this Crockpot Spaghetti is that by simmering all day long, your entire home is going to smell delicious.

Chicken and mushrooms in a super creamy stroganoff sauce. Stroganoff is known as one of those classic comfort foods. This does not deny that aspect.

Now, I love stroganoff, and I have never considered using cream of mushroom soup as part of the stroganoff. However, this recipe has proved me wrong. The flavor is astonishing and very pleasing.

You would never know that you used a prepared soup mix as only a part of the sauce. There is still cream cheese and sour cream to make this one of the best stroganoffs I have tasted.

9. Slow Cooker Hamburger Stroganoff

Again, a stroganoff that completely amazed me. This is closer to an authentic stroganoff in my opinion.

The use of the crock pot is meant to make work easier, however, and I have to say, slightly depressing is the fact that there was more cooking outside of the crockpot than I would prefer.

However, it tastes delicious and the lengthy time in my crockpot made the house smell wonderful.

I would not ignore this recipe due to extra cooking, the flavor makes up for the negative.

10. Crockpot Pasta

Crockpot Pasta (from Well Plated)

A classic Italian flavored dish that puts Restaurant food to shame. This is a super easy recipe, even with this recipe there is a small amount of sauteing outside of the crockpot.

However, it is minimal and the dish would not be the same with the flavor of those sauteed vegetables. The ingredients are layered in the crockpot and that enables the ingredients to blend and flavor each other.

It is cheesy, savory and most of all comforting.

This is a great seafood pasta made in Marinara Sauce and believe me it is savory and flavorful.

The seafood is tender and not tough as many of these recipes become when you order them at a classy restaurant. This is a simply seasoned dish, nothing extravagant, but it would be hard to believe this is not from a Five star restaurant.

As a reminder, the pasta does need to be cooked on the stove just before the sauce is completed.

Crock Pot Lo Mein (from Lil Luna)

Loaded with chunks of chicken, edamame, snow peas and carrots and tossed in a soy sauce based sauce, this is the easiest recipe for Lo Mein I have ever tried.

With just four simple ingredients and your crockpot you will have a meal fit for a king any night of the week. This is what I call a dump and leave meal.

I add the chicken, cream of chicken soup, cream cheese and Italian dressing mix to my crockpot. Stir it together and it will be good to go a few hours later.

You will need to stir a couple of times throughout the cooking process to get the cream cheese incorporated into the soup. I spoon this over some bow tie pasta and the family loves it.

One of America’s favorite meals and now it is so ebay to make it in the crockpot and ready to serve any night of the week.

Almost any type of beef can be used in this recipe, I usually choose a sirloin steak and cut the pieces small.

The steak becomes so moist and tender during the cooking process that it almost seems to melt in your mouth. A super simple homemade sauce with wine gives the dish a deep savory layer of flavor.

Prepare egg noodles right before serving and this is a classic comfort dish. Serve it up with a garden salad and you will be amazed at the compliments received.

This recipe is the one that I have found to give the most authentic flavor to a dish and yet be so much easier to make then the original recipe.

A rich and flavorful beef gravy, chunks of tender beef all on top of a bed of egg noodles will have the whole family begging for more.

No need to precook the chunks of beef, they will cook in the crock pot all day long soaking up that delightful flavor of the gravy.

When made with cream cheese as well as a good handful of cheddar cheese, this meal comes out a winner.

You can use any form or shape of pasta you prefer, making this dish even better.

Creamy, spicy and loaded with tender shrimp. A meal that is ready in a short time and ready for any night of the week.

It really is a simple dish, make the linguine right before you are ready to serve for a quick and filling meal.
