What do you do when you need a bunch of great appetizers but it is too warm to be in the house and slaving away in the kitchen to make them?
You find a file of grilled appetizers that you can make. Each of these appetizers is, in part, grilled. There is a wide selection, a variety that ranges from Seafood to vegetables and fruit.
Try them out and you will be asked to be the host of every get-together during the nice weather.
The key will be to share the recipes so you are not the one doing all the work all the time. Most of these are easy to make and taste wonderful!
1. Grilled Scallops
This is a simple, quick and delicious way to please everyone of those Scallop lovers you know.
These are really so simple that all you need to do is mix a few ingredients together, brush it on the scallops and place them in the grill basket and on the hot grill.
The taste is superb and the appearance makes them taste even better.

What are Pig Shots? They are tasty appetizers that are made from smoked sausage, wrapped in bacon, with a single slice of a jalapeno pepper that sits on the sausage.
Then filled with a cream cheese, sour cream blend with additional cheese and spices. These are then placed on a smoker, with a temp of at least 325 or higher. The filling will swell while in the cup.
I like to brush them with a barbecue sauce, just to add additional flavor.
3. Grilled Shrimp with Konkani Inspired Masala
Succulent grilled shrimp with a Masala base combined with additional spices, coconut powder, tamarind paste and dried chilies.
This is a delightful dish that can be used as an appetizer, or even lunch or dinner. You can serve various sides with the shrimp including a salad or grilled vegetables.
This is a recipe to try if you have never had grilled shrimp before.
4. Chicken Bruschetta On Bread
Grilled chicken on top of a slice of crusty baguette bread. The bread is brushed with an Olive Oil, seasoning blend and also grilled.
The same sauce that is brushed on the bread is used on the Chicken before it is grilled. These are then topped with cheese balls and a balsamic glaze.
There is a wide variety of different toppings that you can put on the bruschetta, from meats and cheeses to vegetables and fruits, there is no end.
5. Grilled Pesto Chicken Bruschetta
This is the recipe that gives you a low carb and healthy alternative to the Bruschetta that you are accustomed to.
This one has grilled chicken topped with creamy mozzarella cheese, a pesto sauce, tomatoes and also a balsamic glaze.
I have made this while also toasting the tomatoes in a grill basket. That gives a whole new meaning to phenomenal.
6. Grilled Bruschetta Salmon
Although this is called Bruschetta Salmon, the bread is served on the side. This gives guests the chance to have a low carb version.
The salmon filets are grilled to perfection, and the selection of vegetables is wide open. This recipe includes tomatoes, basil, garlic and a touch of sugar will make this Salmon Bruschetta the best.
There are so many various ways you could top this delicious appetizer or meal, the choices are endless.
However, this is the one I like for the flavor.
7. Persimmon Cookies with Vanilla Glaze
This recipe is a soft and chewy cookie made with Persimmon. The Persimmon could be pureed or diced.
This is a super tasty cookie that is lightly spiced but still tastes fruity. These cookies could be eaten plain or topped with the included Vanilla Glaze that is listed in the recipe.
Persimmons have a great honey flavor to them, mixed with a fruity bite. Persimmons are small fruit that is also considered Winter fruit.
8. Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Poppers
Jalapeno poppers have become one of the most popular appetizers available today. There are multiple ways to make these.
However, of all the ways I have tried, and all the stuffed Jalapeno Poppers that I have tasted, this is one of the top recipes there is. The jalapeno peppers are halved, seeded and then grilled.
A creamy mix of cheeses is stuffed in the center and the entire pepper is then wrapped in bacon and grilled again.
9. Easy Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Packed full of flavor that includes onions, chicken and barbecue sauce, this pizza is going to be the star of your next get together.
This pizza is made better than your everyday pizza because the chicken is cooked on the grill first and also smothered with barbecue sauce so that it gets a grilled on char taste.
Topped with cilantro and melty cheese, this pizza outweighs pepperoni any day of the week.
10. Pizza Grilled Cheese
A tasty and delightful twist on grilled cheese that is ooey gooey and melty, however, it just got even better by making it a Pizza grilled cheese.
The bread is first toasted with a garlic herb blend. The inside is loaded with turkey pepperoni, marinara, layers of cheese and of course basil in between.

11. Cheesy Breadsticks
This recipe is best if you use pizza crust. The crust can be rolled to your liking, thin or thick. I leave it in between because I like to grill this on the grill set real low.
This way it almost tastes like a brick oven pizza. If you want thin, you would do best to bake it in the oven on a cookie tray.
Topped with a garlic butter sauce and then oodles of melted cheese, this garlic bread really should be illegal.
12. Grilled Eggplant with Greek Relish and Creamy Polenta
Eggplant is not one of those meals that everyone gravitates to, until now that is!
This dish has the perfectly grilled eggplant, served with a greek relish, and vinegar dressing and of course Feta cheese to bring it all together.
Did I forget to mention the scoop of grits that the eggplant sits atop? That is not a part of this dish to forget.
13. Easy Grilled Vegetables
Virtually any food can be grilled. Why not enjoy the opportunity of grilling vegetables also.
Some people will feel better if they use a basket to grill the vegetables, that is understandable.
This recipe included vegetables you grill and can serve with any main course, or as a meal alone.
Red onions, bell peppers, corn on the cob and Zucchini. There are however hundreds of others that would taste just as good.

This is one of those meals that is loved by adults and kids. The one meal that there is never a fight.

The sausages bring a flavor much more savory then using a hotdog in the crescent, as is popular in many parts of the country. These need to be tried at once.

The family is going to love this meal every time you serve it. Using a good Sandwich roll, butter the insides and toast over a grill. Then place the Provolone cheese on and layer on the meat and peppers.

The major portion of this burger can all be made on the grill. From the burgers to the pineapple and the buns, to the onions. This tops the flavor charts.
The burger is actually made with Teriyaki which produces another layer of flavor. The Hawaiian Burger looks like it would be very complicated to make, and it looks super tasty.

Buffalo Chicken is one of those meals that it seems everyone loves. The slider is the perfect size to feed a crowd, whether it is on game day, local sports or just a neighborhood picnic.
They are packed with flavor that never stops. All you need to do is make a simple dressing with yogurt and mayonnaise, and be prepared to share the recipe.

19. Corn Salsa
Now I cannot lie to you, this recipe does not call for grilled vegetables, however, I insist that you grill as many of these vegetables as you are comfortable grilling.
The grilling adds a layer of flavor that is not common in Salsa and it is going to rock your world! Place corn on the cob, tomatoes, red peppers, red onion and jalapeno all on the grill.
There are baskets that can be used on the grill. A combination of lime juice, apple cider vinegar and a little sugar is all it takes to turn the vegetables into the salsa.
20. Deviled Eggs Recipe
Deviled eggs are one of those classic appetizers. In my home they are loved for breakfast and lunch, also snacks. They just can not get enough.
This recipe is so simple to blend together and make time after time. Deviled eggs can be topped with virtually any topping that you want.
I have seen shrimp, bacon, jalapeno peppers and more. Go ahead and experiment, you will not know if it is good until you try it.

Guacamole is an acquired taste, they say. I say just acquire some Avocados and make this guacamole recipe.
You will then see that it is not only delicious, it supplies your body with healthy fats. This guacamole can be served as a topping, or used as a dip for vegetables, tortilla chips and more.

The seasoning can be anything you choose, I happen to love the sweetness of paprika and the way it blends with the salt.

I was never a fan of zucchini until I tasted these delicious fries. A new twist on an old classic.
When you cut the zucchini into strips that resemble french fries, then dip them in buttermilk and a coating of Panko breadcrumbs and parmesan cheese, you will have a treat that is simply outstanding.
Not only are these a healthier version, they taste ten times better than a simple potato fry. These fries are then fried in a light oil.
24. Grilled Bananas Foster
This is truly a simple version of a classic dessert.
The Bananas Foster are so much easier to make when all you do is slice them in half lengthwise, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with cinnamon and sugar combination.
Be sure that you leave the banana peel on the banana while you grill the banana. Then carefully place the sliced bananas on a heated grill and cook for a few minutes.
Top with whipped cream or a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
25. Grilled Watermelon Pizza with Arugula, Blueberries and Parmesan
No, that is not a typo. Grilled Watermelon Pizza is real and it is delightfully sweet and delicious.
All you need to do is slice the watermelon in 1 inch slices, and do not worry about the watermelon losing all of its juice while you grill it. First off, you do not grill it that long. Secondly, grilling actually enhances the sweetness of the watermelon.
Once it is grilled, top it with Arugula, and Parmesan cheese. Then spread some fresh blueberries on it and drizzle a touch of Olive Oil.
