Quiche is a french dish made with a pastry crust and filled with a custard that is made with a variety of ingredients, including cheeses, meats, vegetables and seafood.
The ingredients can be any food that you have on hand, and you can mix it up to make some unique combinations that become a favorite. However, to be fully considered a Quiche Lorraine, the dish must include all of the following: eggs, heavy cream, bacon and Swiss Cheese.
If any of those listed are missing in the recipe, it is a quiche but not a quiche Lorraine.

Making a Smoked Salmon Quiche is more meaningful than buying a special present. No one needs to know just how simple it is to make such a special meal.
To make this creamier, be sure to use half and half, rather than just milk. Half and half will add immense flavor to it.
